Thank you for choosing Frontier for quality computer components. We kindly ask you to read the following company policies since it contains important information on our business hours, shipping, RMA returns, and product warranty.


Business hours

Our business hours are 24 hours work around the clock. Orders can be placed by e-mail to sales@frontier-fid.com
Purchase order confirmations
Purchase orders are not necessary but are recommended in order to guarantee order placement.


Order Shipping fees:

All shipments are F.O.B.(Free on Board) our warehouse. Any loss or damage while goods are in transit is the responsibility of the buyer. It is recommended to purchase carrier insurance. Please ask your sales representative.


Warranty

Boxed - Three years Manufacturer's warranty
OEM - One year limited warranty
Memory modules:
One year limited warranty
Other components:
One year limited warranty against manufacturer's warranty (products' accessory excluded), whichever is lesser.
     
Void Warranty
Warranty will be voided if products are found to have:
Physical Damage
Any damage to products that results from accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or alteration
i.e. CPU: obviously broken; burned or cracked die; chipped corner(s); bent or damaged pin(s).
i.e. Memory modules: broken chip(s); burned marks on chip(s) or PCB, apparently or later found damaged by manufacturers. Frontier reserves the right to claim the cost of replacement charges might apply.
Frontier or original manufacturer's label is removed; damaged; torn or swapped

RMA

RMA requests

RMA requests must be submitted using our On-Line RMA Request Form.

The RMA Department will process requests between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Hong Kong from Monday to Friday.

RMA returns

RMA packages must have a highly visible RMA number on the outside of the box. RMA packages that do not have an RMA number or those indicating a canceled RMA number will be refused and returned freight collect. Product returned by the customer in person will not be accepted without a valid RMA confirmation unless authorized by your Sales Representative or by our Customer Support person.

RMA management

RMA numbers will be canceled within five working days from date of issue. Customers can re-apply for a new RMA number. Frontier can refuse an RMA return if contents exceed or do not match the RMA confirmation.

Warranty will be void if the returned product (s) is returned with the following:

a) Any damage to products that results from accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or alteration.

b) The CPU Processor is broken, burnt, cracked, chipped or has bent or damaged pins.

c) Memory modules are found to be cracked, bent, or burned in any way.

Replacements

Replacements for defective, DOA or incompatible standard inventory product will be shipped upon receiving the returned goods. Non standard inventory product must first be returned and you must allow one to two weeks for replacement.


Shipment

Loss and damage

Before accepting delivery of a package sent by Frontier check the seal for tampering. Report any loss or damage to the carrier and FID within 24 hours.

Quality assurance


Frontier warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship. FID products are sold new and are tested under original manufacturer FID, at its discretion, will replace any product that proves to be defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Replacement products provided by FID on an exchange basis will be either new or refurbished and to be functionally equivalent to new products.
